Comment: I wish you offered better priced UPS delivery for lower priced items!!

So do we! Right now, in order to keep our product prices so low, we have to charge our customers what we pay for UPS shipping. UPS does not base its shipping costs on the value of a product in a package, but on the weight and dimensions of the package being shipped. UPS also rounds up shipping weight to the nearest pound. We try to minimize as much as possible the size and weight of the packages we ship out in order to keep our costs, and our customer's costs as low as possible.

Shower Arms with Female threading

Most brands of shower arms in the United States are made with male threading on both ends in order to replace your existing shower arm with very little effort. Occasionally there are brands, like Great Vibrations, that prefer to take a more internationally universal approach to designing their shower arms and have designed shower arms with male threading on the shower head end and female threading on the end closest to your shower wall. These arms can be used in American showers when installed in combination with a 1/2 inch pipe nipple (usually purchased separately). ShowerStore.com includes easy step-by-step installation instructions with orders of female-threaded shower arms. Downloadable PDFs of the installation instructions can also be found on the product pages and in the ShowerStore.com Support Section.

Female-Threaded Standard Shower Arm Installation Instructions:

1. Remove your existing shower arm flange
2. Mark a line on the existing shower arm where it meets the wall.
3. Unscrew the existing shower arm
4. Measure the length from the end of the shower arm to the line marked on it in Step 2.
5. Screw on a 1/2 inch pipe nipple that is 3/4 inch longer than the length measured in Step 4.
6. Wrap pipe nipple with Teflon tape
7. Screw female-threaded shower arm onto pipe nipple.

Question: I just bought a new shower head and I can't seem to switch between spray settings.

Sometimes, it can be difficult to switch between spray settings the first couple of times you use your new shower head or handheld shower head. We suggest that prior to installation, you turn the spray selector back and forth several times to loosen up any tightness. This will help make your first experience with your new shower head as pleasant and effortless as possible.

Water Temperature and Showers with Mist Spray Function

Consumers will often notice that it is sometimes difficult to have a really warm shower when using the mist spray function. This is normal. Mist spray functions release very fine droplets of water. Because the water droplets are so small, they are quickly cooled down by the surrounding air in the bathroom. Many users find this to be an exceptionally pleasing shower spray after exercise or on hot days. At ShowerStore.com, we discourage users of misting shower sprays from increasing the hot water flow while using this function because of the potential for scalding when switching to another spray with larger water droplets.

ShowerStore.com currently offers these shower heads and hand held shower heads with mist spray functions:

Adding a shower where one doesn't exist

Showers seem to be standard in most bathrooms, however, there is a non-invasive solution for bathrooms that only have a tub. Adding a Side-Outlet Diverter Tub Spout can easily and affordably solve the problem. Like typical Diverter Tub Spouts, you just pull up on the knob and the waterflow goes through the shower head instead of the through the tub spout. Add-a-Shower spouts easily replace your existing tub spout and feature a side-outlet that a hand held shower head and hose can easily attach to. Simply add attach a hand held shower head to a hose, then attach the hose to the spout's side outlet. Using a wall mount like Interbath's 3-Position Wall Mount, you can attach the hand shower to any surface.
